Popular Books I Haven't Read!

Hello fellow bookworms,
In today's blog post I am going to be doing a Tag! This is one I've seen on youtube and decided I wanted to do it on my blog.
What this Tag basically is, is me telling you all of the popular books/ book series that I haven't read yet. I say 'yet' because I do actually plan on reading some of these in the future.

1. The Twilight saga. Twilight got popular when I was around the age of 9. I never thought of reading it at the time because they were such big books and I was not an advanced reader at that age. I've seen the movies so I do know what happens, but I still have the series on my Goodreads TBR list, though I am unsure if I will ever get around to them. I am honestly not that overly interested in them. 
2. The Lord of the Rings trilogy (+the hobbit). Again, I have seen all the movies for these books and really enjoyed them. I have actually tried reading The fellowship of the Ring a few times, but ended up stopping because the text was too heavy... if you know what I mean. I might try listening to these as an audiobook just because I have heard that they are good books, but really hard to read. I do LOVE the movies though!
3. The Percy Jackson series. I'm a bit on the fence about if I do ever want to read this series. I haven't heard too much about the books, but I have seen one of the movies and didn't love it (but books are always better than movies, right?). I might later on read this series, I might not. We'll see. 
4. The Fault in Our Stars. I literally have zero interest in this book or even the movie. I know what happens and I don't feel like reading or watching something that'll make me sad. I'm also not the biggest fan of John Green's writing or contemporaries for that matter. 
5. Game of Thrones series. I've been watching the show for a while and enjoy it, but I am always struggling to remember who is who. haha. The books do look very big and intimidating though, but I think I do eventually want to read them... maybe when I'm older. 
6. The Mortal Instruments / Infernal Devices. I am actually planning on reading these in the next month or so! I'm going in a bit blind, I only know that there's shadowhunters and clace...?
7. The Pretty Little Liars series. I want to read these, but then I also don't want to... I used to be a big fan of the show, up until they started just dragging it out (JUST MAKE UP YOUR MIND ON WHO A IS!!!) The books also look like they've been dragged out quite a bit, I mean... there's 16 of them... 
8. Vampire Academy. I've seen the movie a few times and thought it was OK, I'm not sure if i'll have much interest in the books just because I don't really care for vampires that much. I might pick them up eventually because I have seen good reviews for them.
9. Outlander series. I actually really want to have a read of this book (maybe not the entire series) after seeing Sasha's reviews on Abookuptopia on youtube. I started watching the show, but thought I should maybe just wait and read the books first, so I can appreciate and understand it more...

So, there you have it. My confession of all the popular/ hyped book series that I haven't read.
